Go to our Products page, then "flies", for a complete list of our Chartered Waters original fly patterns. They're hot! Check out our daily Fishing Report for the latest on Lake Taneycomo. ![]() Soft Shell Scud - A lot of great, underwater movement in a soft approachable profile. A #12 pink or coral is one of my favorite big water summer flies. Black and ginger versions absolutely kill big brown trout from size 18's to 10's. A scud pattern like none you've ever seen and fished with. It's been a lights out fly from here on Taneycomo to the Green, Yellowstone, Henry's Fork...just try it...you'll see. ![]() Ginger Midgabou - Most bugs that trout eat have light colored segmented breaks on their bodies. The midgabou takes a midge emerger profile and brings new components to the table that breathe incredible life into each one. Undulating gills and light segmentation that you see on a real emerging midge is an amazing recreation. This understated beauty is a killer midge pattern. ![]() The G-Bug - Everyone has their "go to" fly. Give this bug an honest try and it just may become your "go to" fly. I've caught skittish Crane Creek and North Fork wild rainbows with this fly in a size 16. A #20 original (ginger) G-Bug is the #1 tailwater fly I've ever fished. Trout park fish hit it like candy. It truly is amazing! Anyone who has ever fished it swears by it. A lot of undulation underwater brings it to life. Used by our customers across the USA and beyond with nothing but glowing results These are just a few of our patterns from the Chartered Waters collection.
